Lilliput UK today announces the PVM270S, a 27 inch Full HD production video monitor designed to fit into HD broadcast, streaming and live events workflows. With 2x 3G-SDI and 3x HDMI 2.0 video inputs and high brightness, this monitor is designed to support directors, camera operators and production crews in multi-camera on-location environments. The video sources can be split into dual, triple and quad, meaning it’s also a great option for security control rooms. With Lilliput’s broadcast-grade video and audio analysis tools, flexible mounting options, and an optional flight case, the PVM270S is a perfect addition to Lilliput’s range of great-value SDI monitors.

PVM270S
27 inch Full HD production monitor with multiview and PGM output. 1000 cd/m², 2x 3G-SDI, 3x HDMI 2.0, HDR, 3D LUT, PVW/PGM switching with PG…
High brightness for real-world viewing conditions
The PVM270S uses a 1920 x 1080 panel rated at 1000 cd/m² with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and wide viewing angles. That matters when a director or camera operator is standing beside an OB truck in glare, or when a monitor sits beside a window in a temporary gallery. It also suits control room desks where overhead lighting would wash out a dimmer panel.
Professional connectivity: 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0
Five inputs cover demanding installs: two 3G-SDI and three HDMI 2.0 inputs, with formats up to 1080p on SDI and up to 2160p on HDMI. Outputs include SDI loop and dedicated PGM/LUT paths on both SDI and HDMI, plus bidirectional HDMI 2.0 and 3G-SDI cross-conversion at up to 1080p on the PGM/LUT outputs, so production crews can patch into mixed HDMI and SDI facilities without extra glue hardware.
PVW and PGM for multi-camera workflows
For multi-camera shoots and live environments, the monitor supports multiview layouts (full-screen, dual, triple, and quad) with configurable sources. PVW and PGM source selection, PGM Cut shortcuts, and outputs on the shared PGM/LUT buses make it straightforward to line up what goes to air or to downstream kit. That workflow fits OB vans and studio floors as much as a security operations centre feeding a matrix.
Video and audio analysis, HDR, and 3D LUT
Camera operators and shading staff can stay on top of picture and sound without leaving the panel: waveform, histogram, peaking, false colour, exposure assist, check field, freeze, and audio level metering for multiview, in line with how our larger production monitors support quick decisions on set.
For grading and monitoring fidelity, the display supports HDR (ST2084 and HLG) and 3D LUT loading in .cube format, so you can match camera logs, apply show LUTs, and keep colour consistent from acquisition through to what the director sees on a prompter feed or reference monitor.
Mounting options for studio, OB, and fixed installs
The PVM270S ships with a desktop base stand, VESA mount plate, and a V-mount or Anton Bauer battery plate option, so production crews can mount it on carts, pedestals, or wall brackets. LAN and GPI remote control and USB for LUT load and firmware updates fit typical broadcast and AV rack and desk setups.
Optional flight case for transport
For moves between venues or OB trucks, an optional rugged flight case and sunshade help protect the monitor on the road, alongside the included DC power adapter (4-pin XLR) and wide DC input range. The case includes mountable gears for attaching 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch screw peripherals, so crews can bolt on arms, antenna brackets, or other accessories without drilling the shell.
Built for broadcast and security applications
The same clarity and connectivity that suit broadcast preview and live production also support security control rooms: high brightness for long-shift viewing at a control room position, multi-source layouts for camera walls, and PGM-capable outputs for recording or distribution.
